Hi, I’m Kristen.

I divide my time between two fulfilling careers: teaching as a psychology professor and working as a brand photographer. Whether in the classroom or behind the camera, I focus on how people connect—with ideas, others, and engaging content.

My passion for visual storytelling led me to begin studying photography in 2018. I continued refining my photography and content development skills professionally while completing my graduate degrees in applied psychology and higher education.

Today, I work with local businesses to craft great and engaging content. Every detail tells a story—I help small businesses connect and grow through theirs. With my unique background, I’m able to see the beauty in these details, creating content that resonates with audiences.

Outside of teaching and collaborating with small businesses, I enjoy writing for journals and magazines. In quieter moments, you’ll find me practicing Tai Chi, savoring dark chocolate with a cup of coffee, or gazing up at the stars—simple pleasures that keep me grounded and inspired.
